I started a video series in which I modify an Ender 3 pro in an unusual way. I started with making it foldable and in order to do this I had to find another location for the power supply and display. Because I’ve been asked about this display mod in particular I decided to upload this separately like I’ve done with the power supply mod.
The video in which I add this mod to my Ender 3 in order to make it foldable
Print Settings
Printer: Creality Ender 3 pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Filament: Nylon CF
Notes:
I have used Nylon with carbon fiber because of the aesthetics, but PLA, PETG, ABS etc. should work as well.
Parts needed
5× M5×10mm bolts
4× M4×8-10 bolts
4× M3 inserts for the inserts version
The standard M3 bolts can be used
If you use the version without inserts, I recommend tapping the M3 thread. The wall is very thin and you should probably use pliers to prevent cleaving. I haven’t tried this and please let me know if you experience any issues.

This is a very, very good stl! It really helps to reduce the space occupied by the 3d printer

This is a really neat mod. However, I’d like to suggest that you deboss the logo instead so that the faceplate can be printed flat.

Another great design, I remixed this design to fit on my ender 3 pro as my frame has been modified, which did not allow me to use as it was, it’s a great new position for the lcd, and the angle is so much nicer, good job and thanks once again

Really like the design and how it slims my printer profile down. Only problem was the block on the left side of the display faceplate made my display not fit, and I didn’t realize till after, so rather than reprint I just chopped it off with a dremel. Also wish there had been a version that didn’t have your logo on it, but it was easy enough to chop off and throw mine on so my printer is customized to me, and I took the opportunity to do a filament change to make the debossed logo pop. Next up, the power supply mount.
Would love to use this design on my regular ender 3. Any chance you’ll make a regular Ender 3 version?

Very nice location for the screen. Wish there was a little more sturdier version. Printed this with pretty strong settings out of PLA and this still wobbles too much when touching the wheel.

A fantastic design. The STL files are without issues.
My display is the same type, but it did not fit. Ther was no Problem to make the Changes. I also made a Holder to fit it on my old Ender-2. It looks fantastic now. Thank you.
