Laser cut butterfly out of old sub flooring

I found out that the black XPS plates I had left from my previous apartment which are used for sub flooring are perfect for cutting with a low energy laser. I created several things with this material which came out great. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to cut out something for him too and since I was planning on creating a video about the laser engraver, this could be well combined. He unintentionally sent a non-perfect picture which makes it a bit more interesting and over all I think the result is awesome!

I think the result came out fantastic so I have created a photo which shows the incredible detail!
