If you ever tried to replace the nozzle from a Bambu Lab X1C you know that you, or have to replace the whole unit including the heater, thermistor and fan, or have to replace those components and fiddle around with cooling paste and get messy. There are some after market options available, but I wanted to make a version that accepts the old style nozzles we all got to know and loved. The V6-style and MK8 nozzles that use an M6 thread where the V6’s are a bit longer (so keep that in mind), but both will just work fine. Cool thing is that this also enables us to experiment with nozzles that aren’t available for the Bambu Lab printers, like a 1.8mm CHT nozzle or even ruby nozzles if we want to!
