Often the simplest prints end up being used the most. This hot shoe mini tripod can be used for lights and microphones so you can place them quickly and easily. It’s a 45 minute print (0,2mm layer height) and you can throw a bunch in your camera bag and away you go! I use them mostly for my small Aputure Amaran lights so I can place them anywhere. At thirst I thought that due to its small size they wouldn’t be stable enough, but that’s not the case. It’s also possible to mount them on your tripod by “tapping” (forcing in the 1/4″ screw) in the bottom hole. Now you’ve got yourself a hot shoe mount on your tripod! If this becomes a wide success (of course this will go completely viral) I’ll make versions with an insert at the bottom and who knows I’ll sell these things 😉

Printer: Standard printer
Rafts: Depends
Supports: Yes
Resolution: 0.2
Infill: 30%
Filament: ABS 3D4Makers

Notes:

I printed everything out of ABS, but you can use basically any material. Heck, try to print them out of flexible material and use it to dampen your mic… As I’m typing this I just realize that this can be a great idea. Well, guess what I’m going to try today xD Edit: it works!!
